Welcome

On December 1, 2018, we met in the Chapter room to talk about our ancestors. Everyone that shared seemed to be excited to tell what they knew. Some of us were fortunate enough to have pictures and/or objects from the Confederate in their family tree.

Pride showed in our voices as we read or told what we knew. Stories ranged from sad and unfortunate endings to laughable moments.

After everyone who wished to share presented their stories, we had our annual Christmas lunch. Just before we left for the day, we all gathered for a group picture.

The Anne Eliza Johns Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy is active in giving to different charities. We have so many we give to that it is hard to keep up with them all. We give to shelters of different types and God’s Pit Crew. Helping those that need help is in our hearts. Our hearts are big enough to share with the community and the surrounding area.
